We used to live in Queens and work at a bank/hedge fund in Manhattan. We realized we hated it so we quit.
We drove our Ford Escape to San Diego and worked building houses in Tijuana as year-long interns at Amor Ministries.
This year Andrew is working full-time for Amor and Joanna is getting her Masters in Social Work from SDSU.

Our good friend from middle school / high school is getting married in a place that looks like this. The date is August 21st…right around the time our internship here ends. Hmmm….do I smell a wedding / “year-of-hardwork” celebration in the Bahamas?!?!?!
