In the post I said “I don’t like resolutions - I feel they are short-lived, so I made some long-term goals”…let’s see how I did, and add some more :)
1 Run more road races - I ran a half marathon on April 26th! I ran a 5k… TODAY!, with Andrew…eek I think I only did 2 in 2009…tied with 2008. No gain, no loss.
2 Run a half marathon - APRIL 26th, 2009!
3 Finish my “things to do before I leave NY” list - I didn’t finish the particular list, but I have ZERO regrets about our time in NY - we did it all :)
4 Cook something new once a week - err…not once a week, but I branched out a lot! Last night I made Andrew specialty burgers (I am NOT a beef girl, so that’s HUGE) and tonight I am bringing a spinach, pear, goat cheese, cranberry, and HOMEMADE spice nuts salad to a party…
5 Paint - FAIL.
6 Have more dinner parties at home. - very successful. I should keep it going, we have not had one in IB yet.
7 Become a beer connoisseur. - eh, on hold.
8 Partake in classes at the gym. - Did yoga a bunch…but now have quit the gym.
9 Figure out where we will be fall ‘09 – fall ‘10 - DONE. AND WE ARE HERE.
10 Bible study - I hope this stays on my list my whole life. We joined a small group too - awesome.
11 Stop making lists … actually doing it. - This is dumb, I love lists!
