Andrew just informed me that we will be seeing U2 FO SHO on Sunday, October 25th.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I TOLD YOU IT WOULD HAPPEN!
An here is how it did:
Mike Flavin kept telling us to contact one of his first “kids” in youth minsitry, Dan Kimball. Mike went to his first U2 concert with Dan years ago, and he thought he might be a good resource for us to get tickets out here. We kept pushing it off and then realized the concert is less than 2 weeks from now. eek. Stub Hub had almost nothing to offer 2 interns earning minimum wage. We called Dan and he said he didn’t know of any tickets at the moment, but if he found anything he would call us. WELL, THANK YOU FOR PULLING THROUGH DAN! One of his friends can’t go anymore…thus life has come full circle. Mike’s “kid” gets to help out Mike’s real kid(s).
