    3rd Annual Amor Chili Cookoff We all spread the crockpots around the office as they cook for the morning, we sample them all in dixie cups, and then the experts deliberate. Mine is the crockpot in the top right and….it was officially awarded the silver medal! NBD. I made Grandma Lynn/Aunt Jodi/mom’s chili recipe but, no offense guys, I took some liberties. The official recipe was a little…midwestern…which isn’t bad it just means Mexicans might use the word dulce instead of picante. So, I cut back on the bbq sauce, left out he brown sugar, added an entire can of chipotle peppers, and was pretty liberal with my favorite hotsauce in my collection, Salsa Huichol. I decided on an awesome name too - Tierra de Diez Mil Lagos de Fuego (Land of Ten Thousand Lakes of Fire). It was pretty good if I do say so myself. -andrew (Yes, I made it all by myself.
