    Thrifty Thursday: Beer Shirts Andrew got two of these Sierra Nevada shirts for $1 each. They seem to be brand new as they are in excellent condition. Andrew loves a good beer, Sierra Nevada included, so it made him double happy. During that same visit I got “throw away half marathon sweats” for $7 total.  Since it would be dark and 50 degrees at the start of the race, I bought cheap sweats that I could toss when it started. This is pretty common and most races, including this one, donate the throw aways to local thrift stores. I don’t have a picture, but let’s just say they kept me perfectly warm, but I was glad to take them off and never see them again. You know what’s coincidental? The sweatshirt I wore read, “Cute Girls Recycle”…what did I do with that sweatshirt? I recycled it! Woop!
