Not only is this a money saving tip, but it is a good “still have friends” life guideline as well…trust us…you don’t want to be that guy on the floor after the 1, 2, 3 tequilas.
But in all seriousness…it’s okay to say “no” to “dinner and drinks”, but “yes” to “drinks”. You don’t always have to pay for $7 drinks and a $20 dinner. You can make some mac ‘n cheese or an omelette at home and then meet up with your friends after. It sounds kind of lame and antisocial, but if you are serious about saving this approach let’s you do so while still keeping your friends. Hey! That’s the name of this post. It’s like when you’re watching a movie and the writers subtly drop the title of the movie into the script:
