No cake for fish
Me (in a text to my family): Tomorrow is my fish's birthday. Please make him a cake. Sing to him. Clean his bowl. You know, the usual b-day stuff for a fish.

Dad: Sure no problem, Nanners. Should I throw him in the toilet bowl for some exercise too?

Don't wear flip flops in Mexico
I had a really bad morning on Wednesday. Basically, everything I tried to do ended up totally backfiring in my face…and had me somehow spun around on a Mexican freeway in a 14 year old dodge caravan. I FELT LIKE A HUGE IDIOT. None of that is important now.

A family that builds together stays together. And...
This past week (June 14 - June 17) we had the opportunity to build alongside e.v.e.r.y member of my family plus 3 more teammates (my bro Andy’s college friend, Mike, and my parents’ neighbors Dave and Ryan Griffin). I hesitate to even call them “teammates” when clearly they were just as much a part of our family as anyone else was. It was an experience I will never forget....
Happy Father’s Day to Dave, Mike, and Grandpa Glenn! Remembering Grandpa Jim, Grandpa Mac, and Opa on this day. :)

Hola amigos. Estamos aqui en Imerial Beach. Cancun was awesome! We’ve posted some pics from our phones, but have a ton from our camera too. Tomorrow we head to Tijuana to build with my (Jo) family…they land at 10:30am today. When we get back we will post a recap of the past 3 weeks (including this coming one) with all of our pictures too. You will see San Carlos, Cancun, and Tijuana!...
