We started this blog in August 2009 for several reasons. We wanted to chronicle our drive across the country, we wanted our family and friends on the East coast to feel connected to us, we wanted our supporters to see what their money was being used for, we wanted to say “thank you” to those who have helped made this happen (especially God), and we think blogging is so fun!
Now that we have lived out here since 2009, we hope the blog can be used as a tool to show our readers that 1) pursue your dreams, no matter how different and risky they are 2) how you can make it on a missionary’s salary 3) how you can make it in a marriage on a missionary’s salary, a tuition, and a full-time graduate student’s schedule 4) how to enjoy the life you are living no matter how much money you are making!
